Right from the time this youngster rose up to shine for India in the Australian soil i knew he was going to be one among those big names one day...And now he truly is..Rohit Sharma...a player who has his own class n loves kissing that ball with his masterful strokes ........pheeewww truly gorgeous are his shots n play...Effortless use of the willow makes u wonder how easily he plays such class strokes...
I still remember the way he shouldered the Deccan chargers to a mind blowing win against the kolkota night riders in last years ipl...scoring 28 odd runs from the last over...".RESPONSIBLITY"...This guy has that sense to play in responsible positions and the nick to turn crucial games to his own pockets....An excellent finisher by nature....Scoring those vital singles and boundaries that just takes the pressure off...... and thus he saved so many games for the chargers....."PERFECTIONIST"...And now his batting is proving to be a gift for the INDIAN team...2 consecutive centuries...thats an awesome job young man......way to goooo....
He did well in the IPL editions but failed to do so for the national team..But then this time he made perfect use of his chances and though he has been under the spy cam of the selectors specially after the clubbing brawl in West Indies and question marks about his fitness,he has now come good to show that nothing can stop him and he truly has this attitude that every Indian cricketer needs...""The thirst to win''"------->His lonely innings against the mighty Australians in the world cup was such an example of display of character from this man,though it went unnoticed..Its that thirst for success that has brought him to the peaks of fame....And to all those who blamed India in the world cup failure------->its just a chance that every player needs...and Now he proved it right....hard luck for the Indian team ...It was such a bad luck bad that no one clicked for India ....
